We specialize emphasizing Italian, Spanish, French, Turkish Cuisine all of which can be paired with our extensive collection of 40 plus wines by the glass. Our wine list is designed to give our guests a different interpretation of all the major grape varietals we carry. Also to introduce some of the more interesting ones to our guests. Our food incorporates flavors from all around the Mediterranean basin in order to provide our guest with a plethora of tasty yet healthy choices. As a small family owed business we try to support other small businesses by using locally grown organic/sustainable farming produce, as well as supporting artisanal cheese & beer makers from around the country. Located in the heart of Van Ness, a mile from Cleveland Park, Chevy Chase, Friendship Heights, Acacia Food & Wine is the perfect place to enjoy a much deserved dinner and glass of wine.

Excellent food and wine, and the atmosphere and music were perfect
The initial server was not that great. I asked to sit somewhere and she suggested the bar, although there were no seats at the bar. Then when I asked for wine with the meal, she said she wanted to bring it now. no so much for the customer is always right. I had wanted help pairing since I read so much online, but I didn't even bother to ask. I enjoyed my meal; I ordered a special. The music, which I didn't know about before going, was great! Clean bathrooms. Will return with friends.
